Focus on student developed Projects

Many colleges from Bangalore have responded for our invitation with the interest doing project based on lead. Thus to create an awareness among general public. All the project are financially supported by Quality Council Of India (QCI)

  • PES Degree College, Bangalore- " Lead in Ceramics"
  • Goverment Science College, Bangalore- "Lead concentration in plants"
  • Maharani Science College, Bangalore-"Lead in Cosmetics"
  • Vivekanda Degree College, Bangalore- "Impact of lead on health of people working in printing press"
  • Maharani Ammni Science College :- " Lead in soil surface" & Lead Content in cosmetics"
  • M.S Ramaiah College :- "Effect of lead toxicity on fresh water fish and its consequent effect on people consuming it along the industrial belt of West Bengal."

  • Mount Carmel College :- Lead Poisoning from Jewellery & hair dye & its impact on young girls.

  • V.V.S Degree College :- Lead content in pulses, spices & coloring agents.

  • Reva Institute of Science & Management :- Lead content in edible oil & fats using GFAAS

  • T. John College :- Lead content in outer coating of capsules, Lead content in water of Gotigere lake, Random analysis of lead content at the top of the inverters & survey cum awareness programme among students in Pune & Mumbai.

  • Christ College:- Lead content in packed coloured drinks

  • NMKRV College for Womens:- A survey cum Awareness programme

  • S J R College :- Creating Awareness to the school childrens

  • VIvekannda Degree College :- Effect of lead content on artist (Yakshagana artist) who use paints to make up their faces & their Blood lead level.

pl get your participating colleges to get other students to read your blog etc and vote. You have a captive audience. College Comp sec can keep spl timing for LEAD/ ENV search--just your LEAD subject. Only participating students are aware of Lead issues. Try to put up a show for others July to Nov will be gen activity period. Response to voting on Lead - Bus is very low since no one has seen it.
